Description

A Van de Stadt Pionier 10, fin keeled, GRP, Racer cruiser with yard trailer. Built
by Southern Ocean Shipyard, 1973. This vessel has been well maintained , in her current ownership a New Beta Marine 28hp was installed in 2003. 2015, her cabin floor was replaced by Alan Staley of Faversham. Her topsides were repainted and the underwater hull re antifouled Summer of 2018. Decks and cockpit have been repainted and her brightwork revarnished Summer 2020
She is kept on the Thames and has performed well as a Racer cruiser vessel and is to be sold with a good local Race pedigree.
Last survey 2012, All recommendations were seen too.

Water tanks under the berths one on either side.
Taylors diesel heater with detachable chimney.

Construction

Built to Lloyds A 100 exacting standards in 1973. She has been moulded as one piece in GRP.
Her keel is an external cast iron keel GG25 quality with a slightly bulbous base.
It is entirely encased and protected by the fibreglass.
Water tight self draining cockpit. Teak sole and seat gratings. Large stern lockers A separate life raft hatch plus two large stern lockers.
Decks painted cream solid GRP decks.
All superstructure painted white.

New Beta Marine 28hp, 3 cylinder, was installed 2003 along with New engine beds and mountings, new starter, alternator, fuel system, water pump, hoses and belts.

The engine is sited under the cockpit sole.

Shaft driven to a 16" plastic Kiwiprop propeller
